Welcome back Flyers! Hopefully you're settling in to the first month of our new school year. But if you already need a pause from the readings and assignments you may have on your plate, why not take a break and listen to some hot jazz music?

Victor Garcia is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter who has performed with the likes of Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, BeBe Winans, Tito Puente, Jr., The Isley Brothers, Dr. John, and many others! Victor also sings, plays percussion, writes and arranges songs, and has held positions as a professor at Loyola University, the University of Illinois in Chicago, and Roosevelt University.

Check out one of Victor's songs below and considering taking a night off to relax from your studies or broaden your horizons. Come on out to St. Charles Borromeo Convocation hall on Thursday, September 29 at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7pm.
