Tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, Lewis University is holding the 11th Annual Celebration of Scholarship!

The Celebration of Scholarship provides the opportunity for graduate students, undergraduate students, and faculty to showcase their scholarly and artistic works!

Events begin at 11am and last throughout the day until 4:30pm, and there are a variety of event types to check out. This includes: Poster sessions: research is presented on poster displays. Concurrent Sessions: students will present their research in a formal presentation before taking questions from the audience. Panel Discussions: a group of presenters will gather to discuss a specific topic, guided by a faculty mentor. Creative Works: can take the form of a visual art presentation or live performance, or can be presented in the previously mentioned ways. Br. Joel Damian Business Plan and Business Pitch Competition: students formulate an idea and pitch it to a panel of judges. Three Minute Thesis: graduate students have 180 seconds to present their original research or scholarship in a way that can be understood by an audience without any background knowledge in their research area.
